Players control the athletes, vehicles, teams, equipment, or course in FIFA 2003 (U)(Mode7), then manage timing, position, scoring, and the current match or event objective. Test the opening event and controller mapping before assuming that another regional release uses the same rules or roster.

Start in a safe area and learn the active controls, objective, timing, and resource limits before committing progress in FIFA 2003 (U)(Mode7). Keep a separate save for this exact platform and version, preserve a state before bosses, long transitions, or important choices when supported, and record the ROM label, screen, and action when behavior differs from a related release.
