Back to the Future Part III

Sega GenesisAction

Back to the Future Part III is a 1991 action game developed by Probe Software and published by LJN for the Sega Genesis. It adapts the Western-themed finale of the Back to the Future film trilogy, sending Marty McFly to 1885 to rescue Doc Brown and return to his own time. The game combines side-scrolling platform action with horseback and train sequences. Marty uses jumps, attacks, and period equipment while moving through stages inspired by scenes from the movie. Its varied presentation and recognizable license gave it some appeal, but contemporary reception was generally mixed because of uneven controls, repetitive encounters, and inconsistent difficulty.
