Paradroid is an action-strategy game designed and programmed by Andrew Braybrook and published by Hewson Consultants for the Commodore 64 in 1985. The player controls the small, vulnerable droid 001 aboard a drifting spacecraft populated by hostile machines. Rather than relying only on weapons, the game’s defining idea is the ability to invade another droid and take control of it through a separate electronic transfer contest.
