How it plays
Buu's Fury uses a top-down action-RPG perspective. Players explore areas, talk to characters, complete story quests, fight enemies, collect equipment, and distribute experience-based upgrades among the playable heroes. The campaign follows the Buu saga through connected locations and boss encounters.
Transformation is a side-scrolling action game. Players guide Goku, Pan, or Trunks through stages, defeat groups of enemies with melee attacks and energy techniques, collect items, and face bosses. Its progression is stage-based, with new sections unlocked by advancing through the story.
Plan your run
In Buu's Fury, explore thoroughly before leaving an area. Complete side objectives, equip stronger items, and assign upgrades to match each character's role.
In Transformation, avoid rushing into large groups. Use movement and energy attacks to control distance, save recovery items for difficult encounters, and learn boss attack patterns before committing to close combat.

2 Games in 1! Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury + Dragon Ball GT: Transformation is a Game Boy Advance compilation developed by Webfoot Technologies and published by Atari. It combines an action RPG based on the Majin Buu story with a side-scrolling beat 'em up based on Dragon Ball GT. Buu's Fury emphasizes exploration, dialogue, quests, equipment, and character growth, while Transformation focuses on rapid combat across linear stages. Both games adapt televised Dragon Ball stories with a mixture of recognizable battles and original gameplay systems. Reception was generally favorable for the amount of content on one cartridge, though critics noted simple visuals and repetitive combat compared with larger console releases.
