Game Boy Advance
Nintendo’s 32-bit handheld Game Boy Advance delivered a huge portable game library, strong backward compatibility, and a defining era of sprite-based and 2D gaming on the go.
About Game Boy Advance
The Game Boy Advance (GBA) was Nintendo’s fourth major handheld and the successor to the Game Boy Color, positioned as a powerful portable system for both new 32-bit games and legacy Game Boy titles. Its horizontal design, shoulder buttons, and wide color screen marked a major leap over earlier Game Boy hardware.
Technically, it used a 32-bit ARM7TDMI processor and was known for efficient 2D graphics rather than dedicated 3D hardware. Its library became one of the most celebrated in handheld history, spanning platformers, RPGs, strategy games, action titles, and enhanced remakes, while also influencing the design of later Nintendo portable systems.

Use the platform directory filters or search by title, genre, series, and first letter. Open a game detail page for its controls and compatibility status.
