Check the exact edition
Use the full title and platform label to distinguish console games, handheld editions and spin-offs. A similar name does not mean the same game.
Check controls before playing
Open the selected game page for its button mapping and available save options. Keep your progress with the same game and edition.
Series history
The original Mega Man series began with six 8-bit adventures, followed by later entries including Mega Man 7 and 8. Its wider catalog also contains spin-offs with different rules. Check the game title and platform instead of assuming every Mega Man entry plays alike.

Are Mega Man and Rockman different series?
Rockman is the Japanese name used for Mega Man. Titles can use either name, so check the platform and full game title. Arcade and racing spin-offs still have their own play styles.
How do I find the right controls?
Open the selected game page to check its keyboard, touch or controller settings. Different systems use different layouts; an arcade game may also require Coin and Start.
Can I save and continue later?
Check the selected player’s available save options before leaving. Return to the same game and edition to restore progress; saves are not interchangeable between versions.
