How it plays
Matches use a top-down field and focus on moving the selected player, passing, shooting, tackling, and changing control between teammates. The objective is to score more goals before time expires.
Players can choose teams and compete in structured matches. Progression is tied to defeating opponents and gaining access to additional robot characters, whose special shots can change the flow of a game.
Plan your run
Use short passes to move around defenders instead of repeatedly attempting long shots. Keep control of the defender nearest the ball, switch players early, and protect the center of the field.
Save special shots for clear scoring chances or when the goalkeeper is out of position. Learn each recruited robot's shot behavior, since some are more useful for direct attacks while others create awkward rebounds.

Before you begin
Pass before defenders close in; the field becomes difficult to navigate when several players cluster around the ball.
Defend the center first and force opponents toward the sidelines.
Try newly unlocked robots in practice or low-pressure matches to learn their special shots.
Mega Man's Soccer is a 1994 Super Nintendo sports spin-off developed by Sun L and published by Capcom. It combines arcade-style soccer with characters and abilities from the Mega Man universe. Matches are played from a top-down perspective, with teams competing through passing, shooting, tackling, and special shots. The game includes exhibition-style play and a campaign structure in which victories unlock additional robot players. Its straightforward controls make it accessible, while the character abilities add an unusual action-game flavor. Contemporary and later reception has been mixed: the concept and presentation are distinctive, but the limited soccer mechanics, uneven balance, and technical issues keep it from ranking among the strongest Mega Man titles.
