How it plays
The compilation contains two separate games selected from the title screen. Both use a primarily side-scrolling perspective, but their objectives and level mechanics differ according to the film adaptation.
Players move through linear stages, avoid hazards, collect items, solve simple environmental obstacles, and complete scene-based objectives. Progress is made by clearing stages in sequence; the exact playable characters, abilities, and control emphasis vary between Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo.
Plan your run
Learn the hazards in each stage before rushing forward. The two included games use different objectives, so treat collectible routes and enemy encounters separately.

2 Games in 1: Monsters, Inc. + Finding Nemo is a Game Boy Advance compilation combining two licensed Disney-Pixar adaptations. The package contains separate action-adventure platform games based on Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo, each following the central premise and characters of its film. Play is designed for short handheld sessions, using side-scrolling movement, environmental challenges, collectible items, and simple combat or escape sequences depending on the game. The compilation offers a convenient way to experience both adaptations on one cartridge, although neither game is presented as a technically expanded remake. Reception was generally shaped by the limitations of licensed handheld software: the familiar films and varied objectives were appealing to younger players, while critics noted straightforward design and modest depth.
