Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
Documented for this version
No DOS-specific control mapping is verified for the supplied platform.
How it plays
The player views one complete pinball table from a fixed perspective and tries to keep the ball in play while earning points. Flippers strike the ball, while bumpers, ramps, targets, lanes, and table hazards alter its movement.
The table contains mission objectives linked to the fictional Space Cadet rank system. Completing missions, hitting targets, and reaching score milestones increases the player's rank and score. The documented game focuses on a single-player table rather than a campaign, character selection system, or multiple conventional stages.
Plan your run
Prioritize keeping the ball above the flippers instead of attempting every target. Learn the return lanes and use controlled, well-timed flipper shots to reach ramps and mission targets.
When the ball approaches a dangerous side lane, use the appropriate flipper early. Avoid excessive nudging: repeated or forceful nudges can trigger a tilt and end control of the ball.
3D Pinball for Windows - Space Cadet is a digital pinball game developed by Cinematronics and published by Microsoft. Its space-themed table places the player in the role of a cadet completing missions for a fictional space fleet. The game uses a fixed three-dimensional table view, direct flipper control, and physics-based ball movement rather than traditional character exploration. The supplied platform is DOS, but the documented release is the Windows version bundled with several editions of Microsoft Windows; a verified standalone DOS release is not established here. It became widely recognized through its inclusion with Windows 95 and later Windows versions. Reception was generally favorable for its accessibility, colorful table design, and satisfying physics, although it offers only one table.
