The Hero
The small square controlled by the player, able to carry objects and fight back with found items.
How it plays
Players take control of a small square hero and freely explore a large network of mazes divided into multiple themed areas. The goal is to collect keys to match colored gates, find weapons to fend off enemies, and ultimately recover the golden chalice and bring it back to the castle to win. The world is filled with dragons and other monsters that chase the player, and hidden passages and objects encourage thorough exploration. The game expands the original concept with more rooms, more items, and a colorful new presentation.
Plan your run
Explore in a logical order and remember where gates and keys are located. Carry a sword whenever possible to defeat dragons, and be careful when entering rooms with enemies. When a bat steals an object, chase it down, because it often carries the object to a room you have not visited yet. Some walls hide invisible passages, so tracing along walls can reveal secrets.

Adventure II is a homebrew sequel to the classic Atari 2600 game Adventure, designed and programmed by Andrew Davie and published by AtariAge in 2005. It revisits the open-ended castle exploration of the original while adding more rooms, more items, and a richer visual presentation on the Atari 2600.
