How it plays

How does Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney play?

Players alternate between investigation phases and courtroom trials. During investigations, Apollo examines locations, questions witnesses, collects evidence, and presents items or profiles to advance each case.

In court, the player presses testimony statements for contradictions, presents matching evidence, and identifies logical inconsistencies. Apollo's bracelet also lets him perceive nervous habits during selected witness testimony. The story progresses through four major cases, with evidence and revelations carrying forward between chapters.

What is the best way to play Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney?

Read every testimony carefully and press statements before presenting evidence. Many contradictions are revealed by details that seem minor rather than by the most obvious statement.

During investigations, examine environments thoroughly, revisit locations after major discoveries, and keep track of which evidence or profiles connect to each witness. Save before difficult testimony when possible, since incorrect penalties reduce the trial life bar.
