Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The game uses a side-view perspective. The player guides the protagonist through horizontally scrolling stages, navigating platforms, avoiding hazards, dealing with enemies, and collecting useful items along the route.
Progression comes from completing successive areas and reaching their exits. The experience focuses on single-player action, timing, exploration, and learning stage layouts rather than on character statistics, branching choices, or multiplayer modes.
Plan your run
Take time to observe enemy movement and platform spacing before committing to a jump. Many hazards are easier to handle by moving deliberately instead of rushing through a screen.
Collect items when the route is safe, but prioritize survival and steady progress. If a section causes repeated failures, memorize its timing and approach it as a sequence of short movements.
Arcade America is a 1996 DOS platform game developed and published by 7th Level. It presents a cartoon-style journey through themed American locations, combining side-scrolling exploration with hazards, enemies, and collectible items. The game is structured as a traditional single-player platform adventure rather than an arcade sports or racing title. Its colorful presentation and humorous tone reflect the era of multimedia PC games, while its design remains rooted in straightforward jumping and obstacle navigation. Reception was niche and mixed, with its presentation attracting attention more readily than its conventional platforming mechanics.
