The Noid
A mischievous mascot who interferes with the pizza delivery and serves as the game’s principal antagonist.
How it plays
The game uses a side-view platforming perspective. Each stage requires the player to move through an obstacle-filled route, avoid or outmaneuver the Noid, and keep the pizza safe until the delivery is completed.
Stages emphasize jumping, timing, exploration, and avoiding hazards. Progression comes from completing successive delivery areas rather than from character upgrades or an inventory system. The DOS version is a single-player experience with no documented multiplayer mode.
Plan your run
Watch enemy movement before committing to a jump, and avoid rushing into hazards. When the route branches, favor the path that gives the widest landing area and the most time to react.
Treat the pizza-protection objective as the priority. Learn the timing of repeated obstacles, then move through them with deliberate jumps rather than continuous forward movement.
Meet the cast

Before you begin
Observe hazards before crossing them; many failures come from mistimed jumps.
Keep a steady pace and avoid unnecessary contact with enemies or obstacles.
Avoid the Noid is a licensed action platformer developed by BlueSky Software for Domino’s Pizza. The player controls a pizza delivery worker trying to protect a hot pizza from the mischievous Noid while moving through hazardous stages. It combines side-scrolling exploration, jumping, obstacle avoidance, and time-sensitive delivery objectives. The DOS release belongs to the early wave of branded games made to support a consumer advertising campaign rather than an established game series. Reception was mixed: its recognizable character and unusual premise attracted attention, but critics and players generally found the design simple and occasionally frustrating.
