Max Damage

How it plays
Races take place from a behind-the-car perspective in open, obstacle-filled environments. The usual objective is to reach every checkpoint before the timer expires, but players can also eliminate rivals or run over pedestrians when an event allows those routes to victory.
Players steer, accelerate, brake, ram opponents, and explore shortcuts while collecting time bonuses and power-ups. Events reward aggressive driving and vehicle damage, with progression based on completing the available races and improving access to the expanded content.
Plan your run
Learn each route before committing to attacks. Checkpoint locations are the most reliable way to manage the timer, while shortcuts and jumps can save time when traffic blocks the main road.
Use collisions selectively: damaging rivals can remove threats, but unnecessary crashes cost speed and may leave the vehicle unable to finish. Explore side areas for time bonuses, repair opportunities, and power-ups, and adapt the win condition to the event rather than relying on checkpoints alone.

Carmageddon: Splat Pack is a vehicular-combat racing expansion developed by Stainless Games for DOS and published by Interplay Productions. It builds on the original Carmageddon with additional events, environments, vehicles, and violent driving challenges. Races can be won through conventional checkpoints, destroying opponents, or causing enough carnage to satisfy the event conditions. Its dark humor, exaggerated damage, and deliberately antisocial play style continued the series’ controversial identity. Reception generally treated it as a substantial add-on for players who enjoyed the original, though its appeal remained tied to Carmageddon’s intentionally abrasive tone and arcade handling.
