Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The player manages a football club from a primarily menu-driven perspective. Before matches, the manager selects the squad, sets tactics, handles transfers, and reviews player and league information. Matches are followed through text and statistical updates rather than direct on-field control.
The main objective is to improve results and meet the club’s expectations across a season. Progression comes from league and cup campaigns, player development, recruitment, and financial decisions. The structure is based on recurring fixtures and management choices over multiple seasons.
Plan your run
Build a balanced squad instead of spending the entire budget on one star. Check player roles, fitness, and form before selecting the match-day team.
Use scouting and transfer decisions to address weak positions, and monitor finances throughout the season. Adjust tactics according to the opponent and the strengths of the available players.
Before you begin
Review squad fitness and form before every fixture.
Keep enough money available for wages and mid-season recruitment.
Save before major transfer or tactical decisions if the platform setup allows it.
Championship Manager 93 is a football-management simulation developed by Sports Interactive and published by Domark for DOS. Rather than controlling players directly, the game places the player in the role of a club manager responsible for squad selection, tactics, transfers, finances, and match preparation. The game presents football through menus, statistics, fixtures, and text-based match information. Its appeal comes from making long-term decisions and watching a team develop over multiple seasons. As an early entry in the Championship Manager line, it helped establish the series’ data-focused, management-heavy style and was recognized by fans of computer football simulations for its depth and replayability.
