Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The player manages a football club from a text-and-menu interface, choosing formations, selecting the starting eleven, arranging substitutions, and handling club administration. Matches are followed through reports and results rather than played directly from a real-time viewpoint.
A season is divided into fixtures and management decisions. Transfers, training-related preparation, finances, squad balance, and tactical choices affect long-term performance. Progress comes from completing seasons, improving results, and meeting the club's competitive expectations.
Plan your run
Build a balanced squad before spending heavily on one position. Review team selection and tactics for every fixture, and keep enough financial flexibility for injuries, transfers, and the latter part of the season.
Use match results and player statistics to identify reliable starters instead of changing the lineup after every poor performance. Conservative planning is usually more valuable than short-term spending.
Championship Manager Italia is a football-management simulation developed by Sports Interactive and published by Domark for DOS. It places the player in charge of a club, with responsibility for team selection, tactics, transfers, finances, and match preparation rather than direct control of players on the pitch. The game is designed around menus, statistics, and season planning. Its Italian focus gives the experience a strong Serie A and Italian-football identity for its period. As an early Championship Manager release, it helped establish the detailed administrative style associated with the series, although its presentation and interface are considerably more limited than later entries.
