Clonk
The small humanoid unit controlled by the player. Clonks can move through the terrain, use tools, operate objects, and carry out construction and resource-gathering tasks.
How it plays
Play takes place on a two-dimensional landscape that can be excavated and reshaped. Players control Clonks directly, move through terrain, collect materials, construct buildings, and use tools or weapons while managing scenario objectives.
Progress depends on completing the goals of each mission or match. Different equipment and buildings expand the available actions, while hazards, limited resources, and opposing Clonks create the main tactical pressure.
Plan your run
Survey the terrain before committing resources, and keep essential materials close to the structures that need them. Build a safe route through dangerous areas before sending several Clonks into the same location.
Use different Clonks for construction, exploration, and combat when the scenario allows it. In competitive games, protect production areas and deny opponents access to valuable resources.

Clonk 2: Debakel is a side-view action-strategy game developed by RedWolf Design for DOS. The player commands small workers called Clonks in hazardous, destructible landscapes, combining exploration, construction, resource gathering, and direct character control. Scenarios generally set practical objectives rather than presenting a conventional linear adventure, and the game supports competitive and cooperative play depending on the setup. Its unusual mixture of real-time tactics and physics-driven action made it a distinctive entry in the early Clonk series. The game is chiefly remembered within the German-speaking retro PC community and for establishing several systems later expanded by the series.
