How it plays
The game is viewed from a first-person perspective. Players explore interconnected corridors and rooms, locate access cards and other objectives, and eliminate aliens using firearms and explosives.
Levels emphasize navigation through mazelike facilities. Progress depends on finding doors, switches, keys, ammunition, and health supplies while conserving resources and surviving increasingly dangerous encounters.
Plan your run
Map the facility mentally or with the in-game map, and search side rooms for access items before backtracking. Conserve ammunition for tougher aliens, keep moving in open corridors, and avoid entering unfamiliar rooms with low health. Check corners and doorways carefully because enemies can be difficult to see in the dark interiors.
Before you begin
Search every branch of the facility for key items and supplies.
Keep distance from enemies whenever the corridor allows it.
Save ammunition and health before entering large combat areas.
Corridor 7: Alien Invasion is a 1994 science-fiction first-person shooter developed by Capstone Software for DOS and published by Intracorp. The player is a heavily armed operative sent into a secret military facility after an alien invasion. Its core play style combines maze-like exploration, key hunting, weapon management, and fast combat against hostile creatures. The game uses a pseudo-3D first-person engine influenced by early PC shooters, with a strong emphasis on enclosed corridors and laboratory interiors. Reception was mixed: some players appreciated its large environments, arsenal, and atmosphere, while others criticized its repetitive level design, dated presentation, and uneven enemy behavior. It remains a notable early commercial DOS shooter.
