How it plays

How does Cyberdogs play?

The player views each arena from above and must eliminate enemies while navigating walls, hazards, and confined spaces. Movement and firing are handled independently through the keyboard, allowing the player to circle enemies, retreat through corridors, and attack from safer angles.

Missions are organized as individual scenarios. Progress comes from surviving encounters and using available weapons effectively; the game emphasizes immediate combat rather than exploration, dialogue, or character development.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Cyberdogs?

Keep moving instead of standing in open areas, and use walls or narrow passages to limit the directions from which enemies can approach. Clear nearby threats before collecting or pursuing objectives, because surrounding enemies can make retreat difficult.

Conserve powerful weapons for dense groups or dangerous enemies. Learn each arena’s routes before committing to a fight, and avoid entering a new area without an escape path.

Before you begin

What should you know before playing?

  1. 1

Use the overhead view to watch for enemies approaching from outside the immediate screen area.

  2. 2

Circle slower enemies rather than fighting them at point-blank range.

  3. 3

Treat narrow corridors as defensive positions, but avoid becoming trapped.
