Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The player explores a dystopian city from a first-person perspective, examining locations and interacting with objects, characters, and inventory items. Progress depends on finding clues, selecting useful objects, and solving environmental and logic puzzles.
The adventure follows a largely linear sequence of locations and discoveries. Conversations and investigations reveal the setting and help determine which areas or actions become available next. There are no known separate competitive or multiplayer modes.
Plan your run
Examine every accessible object and revisit locations after major discoveries. Keep track of clues and inventory uses, since the game often requires connecting information found in different parts of the city.
Save frequently before experimenting with unfamiliar objects or dialogue choices. If progress stops, review earlier locations for overlooked interactions rather than assuming a new area is available.
Darker is a science-fiction adventure game developed by T-Bone and published by Psygnosis for DOS in 1995. It presents a bleak, cyberpunk-inspired future in which the player explores a dangerous city and uncovers the circumstances behind its oppressive society. The game combines first-person exploration with puzzle solving, conversation, and item-based investigation. Its ambitious atmosphere and visual presentation attracted attention, but contemporary reception was generally mixed, with criticism focused on difficult puzzles, uneven interface design, and limited clarity about progression.
