How it plays
How does Defender 2000 play?
The game uses a horizontal side view on a wraparound battlefield. The player pilots a ship, clears alien formations, and rescues humanoids before they are abducted or killed.
The package contains three modes: Defender, Defender Plus, and Defender 2000. Enemies become more numerous and aggressive as stages progress, while smart use of movement, shooting, hyperspace, and other available abilities is needed to survive. High scores reward efficient rescues and destruction.

Stay mobile and scan the radar frequently so enemies cannot approach from outside the main view.
Prioritize aliens carrying or threatening humanoids, then clear the remaining attackers. Avoid relying on hyperspace unless the ship is in immediate danger, since unpredictable reappearances can create new collisions.
