How it plays

How does Dizzy: The Yolkfolk play?

The player controls Dizzy from a side-on perspective across connected platform screens. The main objective is to rescue Daisy by exploring the world, collecting useful objects, and discovering where each item can be used.

Movement, jumping, climbing, and careful positioning are needed to pass hazards and reach platforms. Progress is driven mainly by inventory puzzles: an apparently ordinary object may unlock a route, solve a character’s problem, or reveal access to a new area. Mistakes can cost a life, so observing the environment and testing items methodically are important.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Dizzy: The Yolkfolk?

Explore every reachable screen before committing to a dangerous route. Record where distinctive objects are found and test likely uses carefully, because carrying capacity and lives make random experimentation costly.

Use safe platforms to study enemy and hazard timing. If an item seems useless, inspect previously visited areas again after a new event or object has changed the available route.
