How it plays
Players guide Diddy or Dixie through themed platforming stages from a world map. The goal is to reach each stage's finish, collect bananas, Kong Letters, coins, and extra lives, and uncover bonus rooms and hidden exits.
Diddy is fast and Dixie can use her ponytail spin and helicopter glide. Players can switch between the two Kongs, throw barrels, ride animal buddies, and defeat enemies by jumping or attacking. World bosses unlock further areas, while bonus coins and exploration support completion goals.
Plan your run
Explore every stage instead of rushing to the exit. Diddy's speed is useful for running jumps, while Dixie's glide can correct long airborne movements and reach distant platforms.
Search walls, ceilings, and suspicious gaps for bonus entrances. Collect Kong Letters and DK Coins when practical, but prioritize safe landings in difficult sections. Animal buddies have specialized abilities, so learn their movement before entering hazards.
Use save locations regularly and replay completed stages to find missed bonus rooms, coins, and alternate paths.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest is a side-scrolling platform game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong set out across Crocodile Isle to rescue Donkey Kong from Kaptain K. Rool. The game combines precise jumping, enemy attacks, collectible hunting, mine-cart and animal-companion stages, and secret bonus areas. This version is an expanded handheld adaptation of the Super Nintendo classic, with refreshed presentation, additional content, and portable saving.
