How it plays
The game uses a top-down perspective for exploration and combat. Players travel through towns, wilderness areas, temples, and other locations while completing story objectives, talking to characters, collecting items, and fighting enemies in real time.
The adventure is divided into story chapters and quests. Experience increases character statistics, while equipment and items improve combat effectiveness. Several playable characters are available, and switching between them is important during the story. Battles emphasize basic strikes, ki attacks, movement, and positioning rather than turn-based commands.
Plan your run
Build experience steadily instead of rushing through story areas. Explore side paths and revisit locations to find healing items, equipment, and optional rewards.
Use melee attacks when enemies are vulnerable, then create distance for ki attacks or recovery. Switch characters when a different fighter is better suited to the situation, and keep useful restorative items available before major encounters.

Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury is an action role-playing game developed by Webfoot Technologies and published by Atari for the Game Boy Advance. It adapts the Majin Buu storyline, following Goku and his allies as they confront Babidi, Majin Buu, and the threats that follow. The game combines top-down exploration with real-time melee combat, energy attacks, quests, equipment, and character progression. Players can switch among several fighters and develop their abilities through experience. Compared with earlier entries in the Legacy of Goku series, Buu's Fury offers a broader cast, more elaborate progression, and a longer adventure. Reception was generally favorable for its portable presentation and expanded mechanics, although critics also noted repetitive combat and technical limitations.
