How it plays

How does Driver 2 Advance play?

The game presents cities from a top-down perspective. Tanner drives through traffic, follows suspects, escapes pursuers, performs timed deliveries, and completes investigation objectives. Certain missions allow him to leave his current vehicle and enter another one, an important feature inherited from Driver 2.

Progression is organized around story missions in multiple international locations, with free-driving and other shorter modes providing additional play. Success depends on learning routes, controlling speed, avoiding police attention, and choosing suitable vehicles for each objective.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Driver 2 Advance?

Learn the layout of each city before attempting difficult missions. Use wider roads when escaping and avoid unnecessary collisions, since losing speed can make a pursuit much harder.

When a mission permits vehicle changes, look for a faster or more durable vehicle before committing to the objective. Brake early for tight turns, and restart quickly after a failed attempt rather than repeating a poor route.
