Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
Players launch a ball onto one of several individual tables and keep it in play by operating the left and right flippers. The objective is to score points, hit table targets, activate ramps and lanes, and complete table-specific features before the ball drains.
Tables include different layouts, scoring rules, hazards, bonus systems, and multiball opportunities. A game normally continues through a limited number of balls, while extra balls and bonuses can extend a run. The collection is primarily a single-player score-attack experience, with the main progression coming from improving scores and mastering each table.
Plan your run
Learn one table at a time instead of treating every table identically. Watch the ball’s rebound angles, identify safe shots, and use controlled flipper taps rather than holding both flippers continuously.
Prioritize shots that unlock bonuses or multiball, but avoid risky attempts when the ball is near the outlanes. Preserve extra balls when possible, and use the table’s lights and target indicators to understand which objectives are currently active.
Before you begin
Study the table instructions before chasing a high score.
Use the flippers to catch or redirect the ball when the layout allows it.
Different tables reward different shot priorities, so experiment with their scoring systems.
Epic Pinball: The Complete Collection is a DOS compilation of digital pinball tables developed by Digital Extremes and published by Epic MegaGames. It presents a broad selection of fast, colorful tables based on themes such as fantasy, science fiction, adventure, and sports. The game uses a traditional top-down pinball perspective, with each table built around ramps, bumpers, targets, missions, and bonus lanes. Its appeal comes from quick arcade play, score chasing, and learning the distinct layouts of multiple tables. The collection was well regarded among DOS players for its responsive physics, energetic presentation, and unusually substantial table variety.
