Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The game presents a side-on arena in which two monsters compete across a central boundary. The objective is to return the ball into the opponent's area and exploit openings before the opponent can respond.
Players move around their side of the court, strike or deflect the ball, and try to control its direction and timing. Progression is based on winning individual contests and advancing through the available match structure; it is not a narrative campaign.
Plan your run
Watch the ball's height and speed instead of moving continuously. Staying near the useful interception area gives more time to react and makes controlled returns easier.
Use the edges of the arena to change the return angle, and avoid committing to a jump or strike before the ball's path is clear. In two-player matches, vary the direction of returns rather than repeating the same shot.
Before you begin
Prioritize positioning and timing over constant movement.
Change return angles to make the opponent reposition.
Grand Monster Slam is a 1992 DOS sports-action game built around a fantastical one-on-one ball contest between monsters. The available reference record does not reliably identify its developer or publisher. Matches take place in a compact arena and emphasize timing, positioning, and forceful returns rather than realistic sport simulation. Its bright fantasy presentation and arcade structure place it among the more unusual European computer sports games of its period. The game remains a niche DOS title, remembered mainly for its distinctive monster theme and direct competitive format rather than for a large franchise or extensive story.
