How it plays

How does Grand Prix Circuit play?

Racing is viewed from the driver’s cockpit as the player competes on a sequence of Grand Prix circuits. The objective is to complete races quickly, avoid crashes, and finish ahead of the opposing cars. Different track layouts require different approaches to braking, cornering, and acceleration.

Progression is based on racing through the available events rather than character development. Players must learn each circuit, qualify or start from the available grid position, and manage speed through bends while recovering from mistakes. The DOS version is centered on single-player racing.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Grand Prix Circuit?

Brake before entering tight corners instead of carrying maximum speed into them. Smooth steering helps preserve momentum and reduces the chance of hitting track boundaries or other cars.

Learn the sequence of corners on each circuit and use straights to regain speed. Repeated practice is more valuable than taking excessive risks, especially because a single collision can ruin a competitive lap.
