How it plays

How does Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town play?

The game uses a top-down perspective. Each day, the player leaves the farmhouse to tend crops, feed and brush animals, gather resources, fish, mine, shop, and visit villagers.

Progress depends on seasonal planning, tool upgrades, farm expansion, animal products, festivals, and friendships. The player can also pursue marriage with eligible villagers. There is no fixed stage sequence; the calendar, weather, stamina, and available money shape the daily routine.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town?

Plan each season before planting. Keep enough stamina for watering and harvesting, and upgrade tools when you can afford the materials and downtime.

Build relationships steadily by giving villagers suitable gifts, attending festivals, and speaking with them regularly. Save money for a larger rucksack, livestock facilities, and animal care; a balanced farm is more reliable than spending all income on one crop.
