Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The match is viewed from above and follows two teams competing to score more goals before time expires. Players move into position, pass, shoot, tackle, and attempt to intercept a freely moving ball.
The game includes individual matches and competition-focused play. Progression is based on winning fixtures and advancing through the selected tournament or cup structure rather than on character development. Accurate positioning and anticipation are usually more important than holding the ball for long periods.
Plan your run
Use short passes and move into open space before receiving the ball. Because the ball travels independently, approach it from the correct angle instead of relying on direct contact.
Defend by cutting off passing lanes and switching attention to the likely receiver. Near goal, shoot early when a clear angle appears, but avoid forcing a pass through crowded areas.
Before you begin
Keep possession with simple passes rather than repeatedly attempting long balls.
Watch the ball’s movement and position defenders before the opponent receives a pass.
Practice set pieces and shooting angles in low-pressure matches.
Kick Off 2 is a top-down football simulation developed and published by Anco Software. It builds on the original Kick Off with faster matches, more tactical options, and a larger range of competitions and play situations. The ball is not glued to the player, so controlling space, judging passes, and approaching the ball correctly are central to play. Matches can be played as single games or within tournament-style structures, with support for different teams and match conditions. The DOS version brought the series’ quick, demanding style to IBM-compatible computers. Kick Off 2 was well received for its speed, responsive control, and competitive multiplayer, although its loose ball handling could make the game difficult for newcomers.
