How it plays
The game is viewed from a side-scrolling perspective. Kirby explores the interconnected Mirror World, searches for boss rooms, and defeats the bosses guarding the fragments of the shattered mirror.
Kirby can walk, slide, jump, float, inhale enemies, swallow them, and copy certain abilities. Warp stars connect distant areas, while switches and hidden routes open new paths. Up to four players can control Kirby characters in multiplayer with compatible hardware.
Plan your run
Explore each room carefully rather than rushing toward the next boss. Mark unopened doors and return after gaining abilities or activating switches.
Use the Copy ability menu strategically. Flying, cutting, burning, and other abilities can reveal routes or make particular bosses easier. Call the other Kirbys when available, especially during crowded fights.
Keep health items for boss rooms when possible, and use warp points to shorten repeated trips through the connected map.

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror is a 2004 Game Boy Advance action-platform game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo. Kirby is drawn into the Mirror World, where a mysterious force has split him into four versions and corrupted the heroic reflection of Meta Knight. Instead of following a strictly linear stage order, the adventure uses a connected world of rooms, secret passages, switches, and warp points. Kirby can inhale enemies, copy their abilities, fly, and summon the other three Kirbys for assistance. Its open-ended structure and optional exploration gave the series a distinctive twist on portable hardware. The game was well received for its colorful presentation, inventive level design, and cooperative multiplayer, although its map-driven progression can be less straightforward than traditional Kirby adventures.
