Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
Races use a behind-the-car viewpoint on long road courses representing routes across the United States. The objective is to finish ahead of rival traffic and meet the requirements of each event while avoiding crashes and preserving speed.
Players steer, accelerate, brake, and manage overtakes through changing road layouts. Progression is based on completing events and advancing through the competition; the game also includes money and vehicle-improvement elements that can affect later races. The DOS version is primarily a single-player racing experience.
Plan your run
Brake before sharp bends instead of entering them at maximum speed. Smooth steering helps preserve momentum and reduces the chance of hitting roadside obstacles or traffic.
Use straight sections to overtake, then return to a safe line before the next corner. Spend improvement money carefully, giving priority to upgrades that help maintain speed and control over the longer events.
Before you begin
Learn each course’s dangerous bends before attempting to maximize speed.
Avoid unnecessary contact with traffic; recovering from a crash costs more time than a cautious pass.
Use long straights for overtaking and corners for positioning.
Lamborghini: American Challenge is a 1993 arcade racing game developed by Titus France and published by Titus Software for DOS. It places the player behind the wheel of a Lamborghini in a nationwide series of high-speed road races. The game emphasizes quick reactions, overtaking, traffic avoidance, and maintaining speed rather than realistic simulation. Its event structure combines ordinary races with a championship-style progression and opportunities to improve the car. It was also released as the third main game in Titus’s Crazy Cars line. Contemporary opinions were mixed: the speed and large routes were appealing, while the collision behavior and rough presentation divided players.
