How it plays
The game uses a top-down perspective. Link explores Hyrule, enters dungeons, defeats enemies, solves environmental puzzles, and collects items that unlock new paths and abilities.
The Ezlo cap lets Link shrink at special portals. Minish-sized areas alter traversal, combat, and puzzle solutions. Progression follows a guided dungeon structure, with new equipment used both in later dungeons and in previously inaccessible overworld locations. Optional Kinstone fusions, heart pieces, figurines, and sword techniques add exploration goals.
Plan your run
Explore each new region thoroughly after obtaining an item; many earlier obstacles become passable.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is a 2004 Game Boy Advance action-adventure game developed by Capcom and published by Nintendo. Link must rescue Princess Zelda and restore the Four Sword after the sorcerer Vaati transforms her into stone. Its defining idea is the ability to shrink to Minish size, opening routes through ordinary environments and revealing a miniature world. The game combines overhead exploration, sword combat, dungeon puzzles, item-based progression, and optional collection tasks. Critics generally praised its inventive scale-changing mechanics, polished presentation, and approachable design, while some considered its campaign shorter than other major Zelda entries.
