How it plays

How does Legends of Valour play?

The game uses a first-person viewpoint and presents Mittledorf as an explorable city surrounded by additional areas. The player creates and develops a character, travels between locations, talks with inhabitants, accepts tasks, searches for information, and fights enemies in real time.

Progress depends on exploration, equipment, character abilities, and decisions made during quests. The city follows a simulated passage of time, so some events and opportunities depend on when and where the player acts. There is no simple stage-by-stage level sequence; advancement comes from discovering routes, completing objectives, earning resources, and surviving encounters.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Legends of Valour?

Explore systematically and keep notes about people, locations, and quest instructions. Time and travel matter, so revisit places after important conversations rather than assuming that every event is immediately available.

Improve survival before taking on difficult fights. Carry useful equipment, avoid unnecessary battles, and save regularly when the game allows it. When a quest seems unclear, retrace the relevant conversations and search nearby locations instead of wandering randomly.

Before you begin

What should you know before playing?

  1. 1

Keep a written record of names, directions, and quest clues.

  2. 2

Explore cautiously because the city’s freedom can make objectives easy to lose track of.

  3. 3

Use preparation and equipment to reduce the risk of real-time combat.
