Luke Skywalker
A Jedi hero who uses a lightsaber and Force abilities.
How it plays
The game uses a third-person, side-scrolling and room-based perspective across stages inspired by Episodes I–VI. Objectives include reaching the end of each level, defeating enemies, solving character-specific puzzles, collecting studs, and finding hidden items.
Story levels can be replayed with unlocked characters in Free Play, allowing access to areas that were previously inaccessible. Character abilities such as lightsaber use, blaster fire, Force powers, small-droid access, and bounty-hunter equipment determine progression. The DS version also includes handheld-specific minigame content.
Plan your run
Collect studs while exploring instead of rushing through each stage. Break LEGO objects, inspect side paths, and remember locations that require an ability unavailable during the first story visit.
Replay completed levels in Free Play with suitable characters. Prioritize red power bricks and hidden minikits when you have access to the relevant abilities, then use the resulting extras to make later collecting and combat easier.

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Nintendo DS is an action-adventure platformer developed by Amaze Entertainment and published by LucasArts. It adapts stories from all six original Star Wars films in a compact handheld format, using LEGO humor, collectible hunting, light combat, and environmental puzzles. Players switch between characters with different abilities while revisiting familiar cinematic scenes and locations. The DS edition is a separate version rather than a direct technical equivalent of the console releases, with simplified presentation and handheld-focused design. It was generally received as a competent and enjoyable portable adaptation, especially for fans of LEGO and Star Wars.
