How it plays

How does LHX: Attack Chopper play?

The game is played from a first-person cockpit perspective. Each mission assigns battlefield objectives such as attacking targets, escorting units, or reaching specified areas while managing the helicopter and responding to threats.

Players fly over polygonal terrain, use onboard weapons, and monitor the tactical situation from the cockpit. Progression is mission-based: completing an operation advances the campaign, while failure requires the mission to be attempted again. The emphasis is on positioning, navigation, target identification, and weapons control rather than arcade-style score collection.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play LHX: Attack Chopper?

Learn the helicopter’s flight response before attempting difficult combat missions. Keep enough altitude and speed to avoid obstacles, but use terrain and careful positioning to limit exposure to enemy fire.

Identify objectives before engaging targets, conserve ammunition, and avoid lingering over a target after an attack. Navigation errors can be as dangerous as enemy weapons, so use the available cockpit information and follow mission directions carefully.
