Twinsen
The protagonist of the adventure and the hero of Twinsun.
How it plays
The game uses an isometric perspective. Twinsen explores towns, wilderness areas, ruins, and other environments, speaking with characters, collecting objects, solving puzzles, and fighting enemies.
Progression follows a mostly linear story with optional exploration and item-based obstacles. Twinsen can change between four behavior modes that affect movement and interaction: Normal, Aggressive, Discreet, and Athletic. Equipment, spells, and quest items expand his options as the adventure develops.
Plan your run
Explore each area carefully and speak with everyone before moving on. Many objectives depend on obtaining a specific item or learning a clue from a non-player character.
Use behavior modes deliberately: Discreet helps with cautious movement and infiltration, while Aggressive is useful in combat. Save regularly before entering unfamiliar areas or attempting difficult fights.

Twinsen's Odyssey is a 1997 action-adventure game developed by Adeline Software International and published by Electronic Arts for DOS. It is the second game in the Little Big Adventure series and follows Twinsen, a young hero living on the planet Twinsun. The game combines exploration, environmental puzzles, light role-playing systems, and real-time combat in an isometric 3D world. Players travel between islands and other locations while investigating a new threat connected to the planet's history and its mysterious visitors. The game was recognized for its imaginative setting, expressive presentation, and strong sense of adventure, although its controls and occasional combat frustrations received more mixed reactions.
