Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The game uses a fixed maze perspective. Mad Mix moves through castle layouts, collecting the available objects while avoiding ghosts and other dangers.
Each stage is cleared by completing its collection objective. Players must choose safe routes, use openings in enemy movement, and take advantage of any temporary offensive opportunity provided by the level. Progression consists of successive labyrinths with increasing pressure and more demanding enemy patterns.
Plan your run
Study the maze before committing to a route, and avoid entering narrow corridors when an enemy is approaching from the opposite side.
Before you begin
Prioritize safe escape routes over collecting an item immediately.
Watch enemy movement before entering a dead end.
The game rewards memorizing layouts and repeating successful routes.
Mad Mix 2: In the Castle of the Ghosts is a 1990 DOS arcade maze game developed and published by Spain’s Dinamic Software. It places the player in a series of haunted castle labyrinths where Mad Mix must collect items, survive enemy pursuit, and clear each stage. The game follows the basic chase-and-collect structure associated with classic maze arcades, while adding a castle setting and different hazards. Its play style is fast and reflex-oriented, with success depending on route planning and timing. It was part of Spain’s prolific home-computer game scene and is chiefly remembered as a regional follow-up to the original Mad Mix rather than as a major international release.
