How it plays

How does Magic Carpet Plus play?

The game uses a first-person viewpoint from a flying carpet. Each mission places the wizard in a bounded landscape containing mana, castles, villages, enemies, and objectives. The main goal is generally to gather enough mana and defeat the forces blocking progress.

The player flies over terrain, casts offensive and defensive spells, collects mana, protects or transports villagers, and builds or upgrades castles. Completing missions unlocks later realms and stronger magical abilities. Battles require attention to altitude, positioning, spell range, and the behavior of rival wizards.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Magic Carpet Plus?

  • Collect mana early, but avoid carrying more than necessary into dangerous areas.

  • Learn the role of each spell before spending mana in a large fight. Defensive and movement spells can be as important as direct attacks.

  • Protect villages and manage castles while watching rival wizards; ignoring either can make later objectives much harder.

  • Use the terrain and altitude to separate enemies, retreat from overwhelming attacks, and attack from a safer angle.

Before you begin

What should you know before playing?

  1. 1

Save before difficult missions and before experimenting with unfamiliar spells.

  2. 2

Keep moving during wizard battles rather than hovering in one predictable position.
