Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The game uses a card-table perspective and focuses on completing individual solitaire layouts. Objectives vary by layout, but generally involve moving cards between the tableau, foundations, stock, and waste while following suit, rank, and sequencing rules.
Players choose a layout, make legal moves, and continue until the cards are cleared or no useful move remains. Progression is based on completing deals and trying different variants, not on a character, map, or persistent story campaign.
Plan your run
Plan several moves ahead before exposing or burying a card. Prefer moves that reveal face-down cards, preserve useful empty spaces, and keep more than one sequence available.
When a deal becomes blocked, review earlier moves rather than moving cards immediately. The best choice can depend on the specific solitaire layout and its stock or redeal rules.
Masque Solitaire Antics is a DOS card-game collection centered on solitaire-style play. Developed and published by Masque Publishing, it presents a selection of single-player layouts rather than a story-driven adventure or competitive campaign. The player arranges cards according to each layout’s rules, using the mouse and available card-management commands to build sequences, clear the tableau, and expose hidden cards. Its appeal is primarily relaxed, repeatable play and variety between deals. Contemporary reception information is limited, so a detailed historical assessment cannot be confirmed.
