Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The game uses a top-down perspective. Missions place the tank in open battle zones where the player must complete objectives such as destroying enemy units, reaching designated areas, or eliminating important targets.
The tank can move across the terrain, rotate its aim, fire different weapons, and use the environment for cover. Successful missions unlock further operations, while ammunition, armor, and weapon selection influence how aggressively each battlefield can be approached.
Plan your run
Learn the layout of each battlefield before committing to an attack. Use long-range weapons against stationary defenses and avoid exposing the tank to several enemy units at once.
Conserve powerful ammunition for armored targets and mission-critical structures. Clear nearby threats before entering narrow areas, and use terrain or buildings to break enemy fire whenever possible.
Before you begin
Prioritize enemy units that can attack from outside your normal firing range.
Save special weapons for heavily armored targets and crowded encounters.
Mass Destruction is a top-down vehicular-combat game developed by NMS Software and published by Ubisoft for DOS in 1997. The player commands a heavily armed tank across battlefields filled with enemy armor, fortified positions, and destructible objects. Its play style combines direct arcade shooting with route planning and weapon management, giving missions a tactical layer without becoming a conventional simulation. The game was also released on other contemporary systems and was generally recognized for its explosive environments and accessible action. Reception was mixed, with praise for the destruction and variety of weapons balanced by criticism of repetitive missions and occasionally awkward controls.
