How it plays

How does Masterblazer play?

The player controls a hovercraft from a first-person perspective on a three-dimensional arena. The objective is to capture the ball, carry or redirect it toward the opponent's goal, and prevent the other craft from doing the same.

A match depends on steering, intercepting the ball, shooting it, and using attacks to disrupt the opposing player. Arenas and opponents become more difficult as the player progresses. The game supports single-player matches and competitive two-player play, subject to the DOS version's input setup.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Masterblazer?

Stay between the ball and your own goal whenever possession is uncertain. Use the arena walls to redirect the ball toward the opponent instead of attempting a direct shot from every position.

Keep moving while defending, but avoid chasing the ball so far that the opponent receives an unobstructed route to score. In two-player matches, changing direction early is often more effective than constant firing.
