How it plays
The game is viewed from the side. Zero selects missions from the resistance base, enters platforming stages, completes objectives, and fights a stage boss. Missions may include rescues, defense tasks, infiltration, or environmental hazards.
Zero can run, jump, dash, wall-jump, use weapons, and charge attacks. The player develops weapons through use, collects Cyber-elves, and earns mission ranks. Success unlocks further operations and contributes to Zero’s available abilities and equipment.
Plan your run
Learn to combine dashes, jumps, and wall-jumps rather than relying only on standing attacks. Study each boss’s movement before committing to a weapon charge.
Explore stages carefully for Cyber-elves and useful items, but consider the mission timer and ranking requirements. Train weapons before difficult operations, and use elemental chips when a boss has a clear weakness.

Mega Man Zero 2 is an action-platform game developed by Inti Creates and published by Capcom for the Game Boy Advance. It follows Zero as he works with the resistance against Neo Arcadia, combining fast melee combat, ranged weapons, precise movement, and demanding boss battles. The campaign is divided into selectable missions with exploration, objectives, and rank-based performance evaluation. Its visual style and controls build on the first Mega Man Zero while adding new systems and customization. The game was well received for its responsive action, darker story, and depth, although its difficulty remained a notable challenge for many players.
