How it plays

How does Mega Man Zero 3 play?

The game uses a side-view perspective. Zero accepts missions from the resistance, enters a selected stage, completes its objective, and returns to the base between operations.

Players run, jump, dash, climb, and attack with multiple weapons. Bosses provide EX Skills, while Cyber-elves and chips modify Zero’s abilities. Mission results, stage exploration, and item collection support progression through the campaign.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Mega Man Zero 3?

Learn the timing of dash jumps and wall jumps before attempting later missions. Use the weapon that matches each boss’s weakness, and practice charging attacks when a safe opening appears.

Explore stages carefully for Cyber-elves, subtanks, and data disks. Complete missions efficiently when possible, but do not sacrifice survival merely to preserve a high mission score.
