How it plays
The player explores the real world from a top-down perspective as Lan and enters cyberspace through connected devices. In cyberspace, MegaMan.EXE moves across a three-by-six combat grid, fights viruses, solves environmental puzzles, and searches for paths through themed areas.
Battles are real-time. MegaMan can move, fire his MegaBuster, and use a folder of selected Battle Chips. A Custom screen periodically pauses the action so the player can choose chips, while NaviCust programs, equipment, and version-specific powers expand MegaMan's abilities.
The story advances through school investigations, area exploration, boss battles, and liberation-style missions. New chips, upgrades, forms, and programs provide progression, while optional enemies and challenges encourage folder optimization.
Plan your run
Build folders around a small number of compatible chip codes so useful combinations appear consistently on the Custom screen. Keep reliable defensive options, such as AreaGrab or recovery chips, alongside your main damage plan.
Use MegaMan's movement to avoid attacks rather than trading damage. Learn enemy patterns, then punish openings with chips that hit across rows or lock down a panel.
Explore every story area after major events. Hidden paths, blue Mystery Data, shops, and optional bosses provide chips and upgrades that can make later liberation missions substantially easier.

Editorial context
A polished finale that gives the Battle Network battle system a broad set of tools and strong post-game goals.
The story and exploration can feel familiar, but the improved pacing and Cross system make battles flexible.
Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Falzar is an action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom for the Game Boy Advance. It follows Lan Hikari and MegaMan.EXE after they move to Central Town, where a new school, criminal threats, and the ancient Cybeasts draw them into another crisis. The game combines exploration, dialogue, puzzle solving, and real-time grid-based battles. Players collect Battle Chips, build a folder, and fight viruses and NetNavis while investigating the divided cyberworld. Cybeast Falzar is the Falzar version of the paired sixth installment, with version-specific content and transformations. Critics generally regarded Battle Network 6 as a strong refinement of the series formula, especially for its improved pacing, presentation, and battle customization.
