Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The game uses a fixed arcade-style screen or playfield viewed from above or from the side, with the player defending the lower area against descending or advancing enemies. The main objective is to shoot hostile targets, survive their movement, and achieve a high score.
Play consists of repeated attack-and-dodge sequences. Enemy behavior, scoring rules, stage progression, and available power-ups are not sufficiently documented here to describe reliably.
Plan your run
Prioritize threats that are closest to the player’s position, but avoid staying directly beneath a moving enemy. Keep the craft moving in short, controlled bursts so that there is room to evade sudden changes in enemy direction.
Because detailed stage data and scoring documentation are unavailable, focus on learning enemy movement patterns and preserving safe space rather than relying on undocumented bonuses or exploit techniques.
Megapede is a DOS arcade shoot 'em up built around a vertically oriented playfield and fast-moving hostile targets. The player controls a small craft near the bottom of the screen and attempts to clear threats while avoiding contact and projectiles. The available record does not reliably identify the developer, publisher, exact release year, or a documented series connection. Its design belongs to the early personal-computer tradition of compact, score-focused arcade adaptations and variants. Historical reception is difficult to assess because surviving documentation and contemporary reviews are limited. The game is therefore best approached as a period DOS arcade title rather than as a well-documented major commercial release.
