How it plays

How does Moonstone: A Hard Days Knight play?

The game uses an overhead view for exploration. Knights travel across a large wilderness, visit settlements, enter castles, and search locations that may contain enemies, treasure, or other hazards.

The main objective is to find the Moonstones before opponents do. Combat is real-time and requires positioning, timing, attacks, blocks, and movement. Gold and equipment help improve a knight’s effectiveness, while wounds and defeat can seriously slow progress.

The game supports solo play and competitive multiplayer. Rival knights can fight for resources and territory, making route planning and risk management as important as winning individual battles.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Moonstone: A Hard Days Knight?

Explore methodically and keep enough gold for useful equipment and recovery. Do not treat every encounter as mandatory: avoiding unnecessary fights preserves health for important battles.

Learn enemy attack ranges before committing to a strike. Blocking and repositioning are safer than repeatedly attacking, especially when fighting stronger creatures or another knight.

In multiplayer, watch opponents as closely as the environment. Reaching a Moonstone first is valuable, but arriving badly wounded can make the reward difficult to defend.
