How it plays
The game uses a top-down perspective for exploration. Players visit towns, forests, caves, and other areas, talk with residents, solve environmental obstacles, collect equipment, and advance through a chapter-based story.
Battles are turn-based. The party selects attacks, PSI abilities, items, and defensive commands, while rhythm-based button inputs can add extra hits to certain physical attacks. Experience raises character levels, and equipment and consumable items improve the party's effectiveness.
Plan your run
Keep several healing items available, especially before entering unfamiliar areas. Check containers and talk to townspeople because useful equipment and recovery items are often easy to miss.
Use PSI efficiently and exploit enemy weaknesses when known. Practice the rhythm timing for physical attacks, but prioritize survival when a battle becomes dangerous. Save frequently at frogs and other available save points.
