How it plays

How does Mychess play?

Mychess uses a top-down chessboard view. The objective is to checkmate the opposing king while protecting your own king and following the standard rules of chess.

Players select and move pieces in alternating turns. The computer responds with its own move, and the game progresses through the normal opening, middlegame, and endgame phases. The available experience is centered on computer-versus-player chess rather than a campaign or level-based structure.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Mychess?

Develop knights and bishops early, control the center, and castle before launching attacks. Avoid moving the same piece repeatedly during the opening unless there is a clear tactical reason.

Against a computer opponent, examine checks, captures, and threats before every move. In the endgame, activate the king and advance passed pawns carefully.
