How it plays

How does NASCAR Racing play?

The game uses a behind-the-car or cockpit-oriented racing view, depending on the selected display configuration. The main objective is to complete races faster than the opposing field while managing tire wear, fuel, traffic, and car control.

Players can practice, qualify, and compete in race events on oval tracks. Progression is based on improving lap times, learning each circuit, and completing increasingly demanding races; the simulation does not use a conventional character or story campaign.

What is the best way to play NASCAR Racing?

Learn the racing line before attempting full events. Smooth steering and throttle control are usually faster and safer than abrupt corrections.

Manage fuel, tires, and traffic over long races. Use practice and qualifying to find braking points, then adjust pit timing to match the event distance and caution periods.

Before you begin

  1. 1

Use practice sessions to learn each oval's corner entry and exit.

Avoid unnecessary contact; damaged handling can ruin a long race.

Save a consistent setup before experimenting with aggressive adjustments.
